AUTOMATIC QUALIFICATION
For a Team to qualify for entry to the Finals it must first win its Regional event.
Some Regions may have several qualifiers in some competitions because of the number of teams competing in the Regional event.
DISCRETIONERY QUALIFICATION
NZCF reserves the right to add “WILD CARD”entries for an entry fee of $100.00
Chess clocks are used for all games.
Games are played with rapid time control of 25 minutes each player plus 5 seconds increment per move from move one.
MEDALS will be presented for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place team winners and individual board winners in each section. The winning team in each section (Primary, Intermediate and Secondary) will be declared “NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONS”
